Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

1.1 Organisation Details

AHN Intergenerational Education & Training is a training centre working in collaboration with Apples and Honey Nightingale Nursery and Nightingale Hammerson. For any inquiries, please contact our admin team at info@ahneducation.co.uk or call on 07376953348. We operate a monitored out-of- hours answerphone service and will respond as appropriate. 


We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of course enrolment and communication. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

1.2 Course Registration

By enrolling in a course, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and up to date. All enrolments are subject to availability.

1.3 Eligibility

Certain courses, such as the Level 3 Diploma in Intergenerational Care and Education, may have specific entry requirements, such as prior experience working in early years, educational, or care settings, and a minimum of a Grade C GCSE in English or an equivalent qualification.

1.4 Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other attendees and course facilitators. AHN Intergenerational Education & Training reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts the learning environment.

1.5 Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of course enrolment and communication. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

2. Payment and Fees

2.1 Fees

Upon receipt of your completed enrolment form, we will send you a course fee invoice. The preferred payment method is via direct bank transfer. You can, however, request to pay by credit or debit card, which will incur an additional 2.5% charge on the total course fee. All payments are processed securely through a third-party provider (Square, UK). We never store your credit card details. All fees are quoted in GBP (£).

2.2 Late Payment

If payment is not made on time, access to the course may be delayed or denied until payment is received.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Course Cancellation by AHN

In the rare event that we must cancel a course; participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule. We will try to give at least 1 weeks’ notice, but in some cases (e.g., due to weather, technical faults, or tutor illness), this may not bepossible. AHN Intergenerational Education & Training will not be liable for any non-refundable costs incurred due to course cancellations.

3.2 Participant Cancellation

  • Cancellations made more than 3 weeks before the course start date are eligible for a full refund, with no administration fee.


  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking for a course starting more than 1 week in the future at the time of cancellation are eligible for a full refund of all course fees, with no administration fee.


  • Cancellations made 1 to 3 weeks before the course start date are eligible for a full refund minus a £30 administration charge.


  • Cancellations made less than 1 week before the start date are not eligible for a refund.


The administration fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing cancellations and rescheduling requests. This fee helps us manage the time and resources required to handle these changes.

3.3 Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests made more than 1 week before the start date are allowed, subject to availability, at no charge.


  • Rescheduling requests less than 1 week before the course start date are not allowed.


  • Initial rescheduling requests will be honoured free of charge. Further rescheduling requests will incur a £30 administration fee.


  • In the event that the rescheduled course is no longer available, participants will be offered either a full refund or an alternative course option.

3.4 Attendance

AHN Intergenerational Education & Training reserves the right to offer a full or partial

refund or offer to reschedule your course if you are unable to attend due to illness,

emergency, or work-related situation beyond your control, provided:

  • We receive notification you will be unable to attend in advance of your course,

and

  • You are able to produce, on request, a signed declaration of inability to attend.


Participants who fail to attend the course on the scheduled date without giving notice

or who give notice after the course has started are not eligible for a refund or

reschedule to another course, regardless of the reason for non-attendance.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Course Materials

All course materials provided remain the exclusive intellectual property of AHN Intergenerational Education & Training. You are prohibited from reproducing,copying, distributing, or selling any part of the course materials or using them to create derivative works, including your own courses based on the content or research provided. Sharing course content with third parties for private or commercial purposes is also prohibited without prior written consent from AHN Intergenerational Education & Training.

5. Liability

5.1 Limitations of Liability

AHN Intergenerational Education & Training accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in any course, except as required by law.

We are committed to providing equal access to our courses for all individuals. If you

have specific access requirements, please contact us in advance to discuss your

needs.
